Design Engineer (f/m/d)

With a focus on special machine construction, prototype and fixture construction, we develop and manufacture at AM Mechanical engineering customised solutions - from the initial design to the ready-to-operate system. As a specialist in metal-cutting machining, we offer professional turning and milling services as well as complete assembly production including surface finishing, assembly, electrics and commissioning.

We are looking to strengthen our team as soon as possible: Full-time design engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Creation of detailed technical drawings and parts lists with Autodesk Inventor
• Selection of materials and definition of manufacturing processes, also with regard to costs
• Collaboration with production and other departments
• Support in the creation of documentation and operating instructions

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of 3D design, ideally with Autodesk Inventor
• Understanding of standardised design and safety requirements. Willingness to undergo further training in the field of machine safety
• You enjoy working in a small but creative design team and enjoy exchanging technical ideas. Experience e.g. in special machine construction with alternating tasks is an advantage
• Knowledge of English and French desirable
