Production Manager Welding and Metalworking (m/f/d)

Do you know your way around metalworking, keep an overview of production and also lend a hand on a day-to-day basis?
Then take on responsibility with us - as production manager (m/f/d) for the welding and metalworking shop at the Erbendorf site.

As part of AM Maschinenbau, you will ensure that our orders are efficiently planned, clearly distributed and reliably realised. You are the interface between the office, design and production - and support your colleagues directly in the work area.

Full-time production manager for welding and metalworking (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Coordination and planning of production orders in the welding shop and metalworking shop
• Allocation of orders to welding stations incl. time and process planning
• Contact person for technical queries and challenges in production
• Link between office, design and production
• Structured planning of work steps and sequences in the process
• Material management and organisation of supplies and consumables
• Close support of the team in production - without own welding tasks, but with technical responsibility on site
• Acceptance and organisation of repair orders

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in welding technology or metal construction
• Experience in the planning and coordination of production processes
• Technical understanding, organisational skills and team leadership
• Knowledge of common welding processes
• Management experience an advantage - but not a prerequisite
• Completed master craftsman training desirable, but not a must
• International welding specialist or technician or would be advantageous
